Easter
Easter rocked this year. It is way more fun with kids. Elena decorated eggs with some friends. We organized a big egg hunt for members of the ward. We hid over 250 eggs; 200 of which were hid in Elena's basket. Mike got bored hiding eggs, so he thought of bad places to hide eggs. His favorite idea was to hide an egg under a rock, so when a kid pulled the egg out the rock would fall on his/her hand. Luckily, he didn't do it. Natalie had a good one as well. She wants to paint raw eggs and watch kids crack them open. The egg hunt turned out really well. There were about 20 kids. There is just something exciting about watching 20 kids running from side to side searching for the eggs. It was a great Saturday. Elena woke up about 7:15 on Sunday and meandered out to the front room. As soon as she saw the basket, she ran over to it and ripped open her candy. She is currently on her second sugar high. We also got her a book on Jesus, which she likes. On her second sugar high she started gnawing on the corner of the book.
