so its kinda funny

So the other week my sister told me of how her 3 year old scribbled all over the house in a matter of minutes while she was breifly on the phone. Later I was telling Mike about that, and how fortunate we have been that Elena just doesn't do that. When she first learned how to color she would try, but we quickly told her not too and were very careful about teaching her to only color on paper. In our conversation Mike said, " I am glad we nipped that one in the but." I replied, "Ya." Mike then jokingly said, "Knock on wood." Well apparently we should have knocked on wood- because today I ignored her for probably 3 minutes while I finished something on the computer. She was quiet and happy, and so was I... until I turned around and saw her coloring all over our bed with a red pen. I was so shocked I didn't even yell, I laughed for a second, but preceded to put her in her room for time out... Kinda funny huh?

Forget perfectly straight and white veneers, the most beautiful smile is that of a child's- especially the all gum smiles. Right around 6 weeks Aubrey turned into quite the smiler, and smile she does. Almost every time you look or talk to her she grins from ear to ear.
